Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town Organizes Annual Prize Distribution Function

On 13th Oct.2018 Annual Prize Distribution Function to felicitate the merit holders of classes III to XII of the session 2017-2018 was organized by Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana.

Dr. Jatin Abbi (IRS) Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax, Ludhiana-II graced the occasion with his presence as the Chief Guest of the day. He was accorded a warm welcome by the Management, Principal & senior faculty members followed by band display. The evening started off with the recital of Shabad sung by music team followed by a welcome address by Principal Mrs.Gurmant Kaur Gill.

About 200 toppers of classes 3rd to 10+2 were felicitated as they were given mementoes by the distinguished guest for their excellence in academics & co-curricular activities. A colourful gala comprising of dances & songs was presented by the students.

Besides, Karanvir Singh alumnus of the school was awarded with Pride of GNIPS. He is a global entrepreneur, Chairman of Visionum Group, World Economic Forum. He attended Meeting at Davos in Switzerland alongwith Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi from 23/01/18 to 26/01/18.
