Orientation Programme at GNI, Model Town.

The academic year 2019-20 is laden with newer avenues to explore and abundant goals to achieve. Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town organized an Orientation Programme for the parents of the new admissions for classes Nursery and LKG on Saturday 23rd February, 2019.

The programme began with a welcome address by the Principal Mrs.Gurmant Kaur Gill. She enlightened the audience with her words of wisdom and elaborated the spirit of school.

The School Counsellor and Co-ordinator of Pre-Primary classes Mrs.Abhineet Kaur Sarna emphasized upon the pivotal role that is played by the parents in the upbringing of their ward and in helping them to tide over the cares and concerns related to childhood.

Headmistress Mrs.Navjit Kaur Pahuja made the gathering aware of the necessary information & instructions. She also provided the parents with an insight to the co-curricular activities that are conducted in the school. She instructed the parents about arrival and dispersal, buses, snacks, lunch and classroom schedules. This was followed by the interactive session.The parents were quite inquisitive and were seated in rapt attention throughout the session. About 450 parents attended the orientation programme. The refreshment was served to the parents.
