Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town Students visit various venues for field trips under YUG

As per initiative by Youth in Urban Governance (YUG) 2023-24 which is combined effort of the District Administration, Municipal Corporation & Ludhiana Smart City various activities were organized for students. Students were taken to 3 different venues- ICCC (Classes XI & XII), Bio gas plant (Classes IX & X) and Nehru Planetarium (Classes III to V) on 26th July 2023.

At ICCC, 50 students along with 2 teachers were enlightened about various cameras installed at different places in Ludhiana to control Crime rate in the city and were also explained about importance of property tax.

50 students along with 2 teachers visited Biogas Plant and learnt about the production of Bio gas from animal waste. It was a good learning by seeing experience for all.

25 students along with 2 teachers visited Nehru Planetarium and were shown structure, functioning, arrangements of different planets  in the solar system. This visit took the children to the next world – The space.
