Best out of waste activity at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

To educate students about the three R’s (Reuse, Reduce & Recycle) of waste material into useful objects, Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town organized ‘Best out of waste’ activity on 10th November, 2023 for the students of classes Nsy to II. The skills and creativity of the students in utilizing the things that we discard without a second thought was amazing. They made articles from used bottles, CDs, straws, plastic spoons, wood shavings and a variety of other waste objects. The items on the display ranged from showpieces, wall hangings, lamp shades, newspaper stand to a few working models.

 The Principal Mrs.  Gurmant Kaur Gill appreciated the creative skills of the students. Headmistress, Mrs. Navjit Kaur Pahuja and Co-ordinator,  Mrs. Abhineet Kaur  Sarna also encouraged the students to adopt the 5 R’s to make our environment safe and healthy and appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the parents.
