Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town organizes Capacity Building Programme for Teachers

A Capacity Building Programme was organized by ‘Centre of Excellence’ CBSE’ for science teachers at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana on 21st November 2023. 60 teachers from 29 CBSE affiliated schools from all over Punjab attended it. The topic for the same was ‘Science (Elementary Classes)’ and the resource persons were Mr Gurbhej Singh Negi, Principal of Guru Nanak Public School, Ludhiana and Dr Basundhara, a Science teacher of St. Anne’s Convent School, Sector 32, Chandigarh. Various topics like Bloom’s Taxonomy & educational objectives, 21st Century competencies & learning outcomes, Experience learning and lesson planning & Assessment were discussed. The topics were emphasized upon through the medium of power point presentation, fun-filled activities and discussion. The Principal, Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill, said that this Capacity Building Programme will surely update teachers with the latest knowledge and will also help developing Scientific Aptitude among teachers which will ultimately benefit the students they instruct.  It was a great learning experience for all.
