Lohri Celebrations in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

Lohri was celebrated in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town on 12th Jan., 2024 with great zeal & fervour. The mood on the campus was upbeat & the staff of the school was totally absorbed in the festive spirit of Lohri. General Secretary S. Gurvinder Singh Sarna, Manager S. Jasvinder Singh (Advocate) & Principal Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill lit the sacred bonfire to initiate the celebration. The staff offered prayers for new beginnings, health & prosperity for all & sang songs & danced on the tunes of Punjabi folk songs & enjoyed ‘peanuts’, ‘rewaries’ and ‘gachak’. It was a day well spent & the school ground was today full of joy & laughter.
