Republic Day Celebrations in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

India’s 75th Republic Day was celebrated on 25th Jan., 2024 in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town. The school choir sang the patriotic song in the morning assembly and Principal Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill, addressed the students to do their best and feel proud to be an Indian. The whole school campus was caught up in a patriotic fervour. A class Activity ‘Badge Making’ was organized for the students of classes VI – VIII. Students made the coloured badges with different materials like ribbons, craft paper, tri colour sheets, tri colour threads etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating. After making badges all the students pinned up the badges on their school blazers.   

The Pre-Primary wing celebrated the occasion with full patriotic spirit and enthusiasm in both online & offline mode. Nursery to UKG students filled tricolour in balloons, badges & kites and recited patriotic songs and poems in a virtual mode. Students of Class I & II participated in tricolour kite making & card making activity respectively.
