Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town celebrates Labour Day

Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town celebrated ‘Labour Day’ to acknowledge the ceaseless efforts put in by the diligent workforce. The school saluted their sincere contribution and held a gala celebration in the school premises on 2nd May to recognize their invaluable service. The celebration commenced with a welcome dance which was followed by a speech highlighting the origin and importance of Labour Day. The students also presented a play emphasizing the contribution of work force in society. The students of Music Dept. sang melodious song and thanked them for their invaluable services. The final item was a group dance showing gratitude to the support staff. All the support staff members were felicitated with a token of appreciation in the form of gifts by the school authorities. A lunch party was also organized for the members of the support staff. The Principal, Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill focused on the priceless contribution of the helpers for the smooth functioning of the school. With a formal vote of thanks and National Anthem, the celebration came to its glorious culmination.
