Seminar on Road Safety at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, hosted a pivotal seminar aimed at educating students of grades VIII – XII about road safety. The event titled ‘Be Safe Keep Safe’ featured expert speakers from Traffic Deptt, Ludhiana, ACP S. Gurpreet Singh (Traffic Zone-2), Mr. Manmeet Singh (Dist. Education Officer) and Head constable S. Jasvir Singh (Traffic Cell, Ludhiana). The resource persons laid emphasis on factors responsible for accidents, strategies to avoid them, essential tips for safe driving and gestures of driving. A special emphasis was laid on specifics of Rule 199 A (Motor Vehicle Act 1988). The Principal, Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill, praised the efforts of Traffic Deptt to create awareness. The event was well-received, leaving students better informed and committed to practicing safe driving habits.
