Pencil Shaders, Extempore and Turncoat Debate at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

Students at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana, participated in a vibrant and educational Multicultural Activity Day, showcasing their diverse talents and learning new skills. The event featured a variety of activities, including a Pencil Shaders Competition for grade 9, an Extempore Speech Contest in Punjabi for grade 10, and a Turncoat Debate in English for grade 11.

In Pencil Shaders Competition, students drew scenes of India’s struggle for independence. The participants skillfully used pencils to create evocative images of iconic moments and figures from India’s history. Meanwhile, the Extempore speech in Punjabi tested the students' quick thinking and oratory skills. Participants were given a range of topics. The event concluded with a riveting Turncoat Debate on the topic “Artificial Intelligence: Friend or Foe?" The participants impressed the judges with their seamless transitions and compelling points.

The event was a resounding success, with students gaining invaluable experience in various disciplines.
