Gift Wrapping and Rangoli Marvels at Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

In the spirit of Diwali, Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town organized exciting inter house competitions where students of grade IX participated in Gift Wrapping Competition and students of grade XI showcased their artistic talent in Rangoli making competition- Rangoli Marvels. The event aimed to promote creativity, teamwork and cultural values associated with the festival of lights. The students of grade IX used vibrant papers, ribbons and other decorative elements (making best usage of waste material) to wrap gifts with precision and creativity. Simultaneously, the students of grade XI worked in teams and used flowers, coloured powders and diyas to create traditional and contemporary rangoli patterns that reflected the festive theme of Diwali. Students of classes VI & VII decorated diyas in an innovative way. Students of class VIII also visited Old Age Home and Bal Bhawan to distribute self-decorated diyas / candles and eatables like Apples & biscuits. In return, they received blessings and wishes from elderly persons and children of Bal Bhawan.

 The competition reflected the spirit of joy and harmony, leaving all with a sense of fulfillment.
