Hosts Investiture Ceremony

The Investiture Ceremony of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town for the current academic session was held in the school campus. It is the most awaited event of the school where the deserving young talents were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school from the front with commitment, confidence & competence. The newly elected council was awarded with badges & sashes & the administration of oath which symbolizes their responsibilities. Gulabwinder Singh was bestowed as the Head Boy & Navnoor Kaur was bestowed as the Head Girl of the new Student Council. This was followed by pinning of badges of Vice Captains, Captains and other members of senior council of the school. The older council, by tradition, relinquished the responsibility to the new council in grace and by example. Besides the senior council, the prefects for classes II, V & VIII were also pinned with badges. The student council took a formal oath to live up to the expectations & work with sincerity & efficiency.

Principal Mrs. Gurmant Kaur Gill, congratulated the newly appointed council & urged them to take up the responsibility with commitment & integrity. The ceremony concluded with National Anthem. It was a memorable occasion for the young leaders.
