Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Prakash Utsav

Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town celebrated birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism with great fervor and devotion. The programme started with Parkash of Holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji followed by recital of ‘Japji Sahib’ Paath. The Music Teachers Mr. Gobinder Singh & Mrs. Amandeep Kaur presented mesmerizing Shabad Kirtan in praise of Guru Sahib which enchanted & soothed the soul of everyone. The spiritual ambience of the devotional hymns rented a religious fervor in the air when the music teachers enkindled minds with soulful shabad renditions of

General Secretary S. Gurvinder Singh Sarna, Manager S. Harbhajan Singh (Advocate), Principal Mrs.Gurmant Kaur Gill & few staff members joined hands in celebrating the Gurpurab. Speaking on the occasion, S. Gurvinder Singh Sarna Gen. Secy. threw light on the life & teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji & emphasized to tread on the path shown by Guru Sahib Ji. Lastly, Langar was served.

The whole programme was telecast live for the parents & students to be a part of the celebrations.
