Interactive Session for Students in Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town

 As per CBSE guidelines, under Project Veer Gatha, an interactive session was organized by Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town on 18th November 2022. The resource person was a Gallantry Award winner, Wg Cdr Mantej Singh Somal, qualified pilot on Mi-17 Vs, Mi 17Iv, Mi 17 and chetak or cheetah helicopters. He shared his experiences, his journey at NDA and the onerous tack that he undertook when he made a difficult landing and saved the lives of three injured personnel during an ongoing fight by taking them to the plan of safety. The students asked various questions. The session was a great morale booster for the students.
